Ms. Sining Zhang, a Leading Expert from China Security and Regulatory Commission (China’s equivalent of SEC) will speak at China – USA Business Forum on March 14 in the Metroplex

DALLAS, Texas (March 9, 2005) – With “Business Transparency and Modernization” the primary missions of the China – USA Business Forum (http://www.acfic.org) on March 14, 2005 in the Metroplex,CCPIT/CCOIC Dallas office is pleased to announce that Ms. Sining Zhang, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Listed Company Supervision of China Security and Regulatory Commission (CSRC), the Chinese equivalent of the Security and Exchange Commission of United States, will be a speaker at the Forum.
Ms. Sining Zhang assumed her current position since 2001. Her portfolio includes formulating regulatory policies of listed companies’ disclosures and supervision of such companies to disclose information truthfully, accurately and completely.
According to Da Hsuan Feng, one of the Forum organizers, “reading the portfolio of Ms. Zhang reminded me the now ubiquitous and ever present Sarbanes – Oxley Act.”“As China continues to mature its stock markets, with transparencies one of its main aims, I think leaders like Ms. Zhang shall assume greater responsibilities in the 21st century”.
Prior to her current position, Ms. Zhang was the Deputy Director General at CSRC’s Department of Public Offering Supervision, where she formulated policies on regulation of public offerings, supervises primary security markets, and examined new IPO applications.
Ms. Zhang is a Ph.D. candidate of the Graduate School of the People’s Bank of China and a former lecturer of China Finance Institute.
Also speaking at the Forum is Ms. Jinling Zhang, the Executive Director General without portfolio of the Chinese Ministry of Finance.
